Christopher Liddell

Chris has been working professionally in the Arts since the age of 17 operating his family’s commercial Recording Studio in Mullumbimby. Since then he has developed an International career in Video & Multimedia producing with Julian Lennon, 4x ARIA Winner Johnny Diesel and was  Editor and Supervising Producer of the multi-award winning film “Whaledreamers”. Since 2009 Chris and his wife Jodi have been operating their Video Web Design business Digital Tao Studio in the heart of Uki.

Vice President- Sue McKenna

Musician, composer, performer, (Mantlepeace, Channelfree, Imandan) owner operator Kitnkaboodle Productions & Mothership Music Retreat, Vocal Yoga practitioner, Workshop facilitator, festival/event management & vegetarian cook.

Festival Director – Jodijo Liddell

Jodi Jo at Cabaret 360JodiJo has worked in the Arts her entire life, indeed she was on stage before she was born and sang before she could speak. Hailing originally from Adelaide where JodiJo grew up on the boards of musical theatre, she had the opportunity to learn every job in the game from from front of house to stage hand to star. She has lived in the Northern Rivers for over 15 years and Uki village since 2009. Combining her knowledge in live event management, sales and marketing with her experience as a seasoned performer, we look forward to benefiting from JodiJo’s initiative as the new Ukitopia Festival Director beginning 2013.

Chairperson / Meetings Secretary – Marianne Jago-Bassingthwaighte

Secretary – Thomas Bailey

Thomas BaileyThomas relishes entertaining us with his host of charismatic characters including Nearly Normal Norman and Lorenzo the Libidinous Lion tamer. He has brought us such delights as the Nit Circus, the Aussie Oddities Emporium but his real passion lies in power point presentations. As the Ukitopia Festival Artistic Director in 2012 he brought us a tops festival with the worlds longest conga line. He acts, puppeteers and has been known to bust out a tune with Circus Train and regularly Clowns around for Big Flop circus productions. The guys fit too, he works as an Outdoor education instructor and can regularly be found climbing mountains and paddling in creeks with his beautiful children.

Public Officer – Natascha Wernick

Natascha Wernick

Natascha Wernick has been working in small business management for over 20 years, since 2001 in the creative industries of the Northern Rivers area. Natascha has built steady networks throughout this area with artists and musicians, photographers, gallery owners, graphic and web designers, eco printers, retailers, business and arts organisations and various sectors of the media. Natascha is currently the Liaison officer for the Murwillumbah and District Business Chamber; the coordinator of the Uki After school Care – OOSH and was the founding President of the Ukitopia Arts Collective.

Jake Mann

Jake Mann

25 years in the music industry; owner operator Kitnkaboodle productions and Mothership music retreat/recording studio. Jake is an experienced sound engineer, both live and in the studio and is a versatile multi instrumentalist, composer and event consultant.



Maya Sapir

Dreamer, singer, puppeteer, Trashformer.
·         A passionate half of Tupenny opera.
·         Co-directed the first Cabaret 360 2010
·         Creative Director of theTrashformers, creating large installations out of trash, and running workshops in making art of recycled trash I worked for:
·         ‘Unity Festival’  2010, 2011
·          Byron Shire Council ‘Harvest parade’ in Mullumbimby 2011
·         Tweed Shire Council  ‘River Festival’  2011
·         Maker of the amazing ‘Mighty Mouth’ – 100% natural tooth oil protector against decay.
·         Event manager of Epiphany Arts 2004-2008 –  a cultural event bringing together community, artists and food in one place.
And my best creation and privilege-  a mum to an amazing 13 YO daughter.

 Michele Bevis

Michele BevisMichele is glass bead artist, Emubeads – melting and forming glass rods into glass artworks.
Unique, handmade glass beads.
Stretching beyond standard lamp-work techniques and experimenting in her own style, michele creates glass artworks with a hole – a bead by name and nature. She also love a tutu and tiara’s.

    • Your 10 year old can come. Some of the performances are a bit risque, but it is your perogative whether to bring them or not…Oh! and there is only the one ticket price… see you then. :)
